friendly staff clean cabin
the staff was super friendly and helpful. our cabin had everything we needed and was clean (even better than i expected).
the lanes leading in and out are quite narrow.

clean cabin basic kitchen great location
the cabin was very clean. it had all the basics i needed in the kitchen. the location is great for exploring the surrounding area.
the wifi had an extra charge, we did not love that.

beautiful location friendly staff unsuitable cabin lacking service
the location was indeed beautiful. a short walk with the family led us right down to the beach, how cool is that? the staff were friendly and always super professional (that's what i like!).
the cabin we rented was a little unsuitable for a group of four adults. also, i found customer service lacking when we had to leave after just one night. i emailed management but never got a response (i expected more from them).

basic stay with limited comfort
musty smell uncomfortable sofa
The lodge had a noticeable musty smell upon our arrival. it felt very basic. No tea towels or washing up liquid were provided. the sofa beds in the conservatory were far from comfy (i wouldn't recommend them). a night on one of those hurt my back. i think the lodge is better suited for four people instead of six.
